It was the last of the red carpets as the projectors wound down and the 30th edition of the Miami International Film Festival came to a celebratory close on Saturday evening. Filmmakers, media, actors and cinema fans came together for some well-deserved partying at the Pyrat Awards Party. The packed event was held at the famously-lit National Historic Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College in downtown Miami. This year, the Miami International Film festival revealed 138 carefully selected films hailing from 41 different countries. The array of films were presented in various venues around the city of Miami, and as expected, all screenings were at full capacity.
