ABOUT MARISSA

“You can underestimate someone all you want…but never underestimate the power of the printed word.”

Hello there…my name is Marissa Foglia and I’m a professional freelance writer and editor.

I wasn’t born with a pen in my hand, but I was blessed with firecracker talent and a passion for the arts! My fortePROFILE PIC is feature writing, which can be found on a global level in magazines, books (remember those?) promotional literature, as well as countless social media outlets.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with some pretty neat people over the years. My client roster includes highly passionate and talent-driven individuals such as life coaches, professional athletes, artists, musicians, DJs, doctors, health experts, as well as major corporations.

On A Personal Note:

I am a self-proclaimed ESPN addict. I also fancy all things organic, as well as the art of travel. When I’m not writing, I spend time as a (very) vocal pitbull advocate.

Born in Pittsburgh, I am a die hard Steelers fan, who has also been fortunate enough to write about the team for sports publications during the NFL season.

I’ve been told I have this thing called a naturally contagious spirit…all I know is I am eternally grateful to be blessed with the ability to create something out of nothing…and that you should never trust a person who won’t eat cake.
